Missing Link

Two trades. One missing link. How far can you go?

A new challenge every day

Different deals.
The same missing player.

A team receives a player, then trades them later. Use the dates, teams, and full packages to find the person connecting both deals.

Three mistakes. Three hints. One run. No timer or account.

  1. 01Read the two trades.Dates, teams, players, and picks are clues.
  2. 02Find the connecting player. The same name is missing from both deals.
  3. 03Discover what came next. Each solved chain unlocks another.

A quick scouting report

Find the missing link.

  1. A team acquires a player in one trade and sends that same player out in a later trade. Find the one player connecting both deals.
  2. The “missing link” labels refer to the same person. Every other player and the picks are shown. Each team’s complete receiving package stays together.
  3. Search a name, choose the player, and submit. One correct answer completes the chain. Read the connection, then choose Next chain.
  4. You have three mistakes and three hints for the whole run. A hint reveals initials and recorded career playing years. It costs no strike and doesn’t fill the answer. One hint per chain.
  5. Your third mistake ends the run. Empty entries and repeated guesses cost nothing. No timer or account is needed.

Picks and swaps are already filled in. You never guess their years. Cash and draft-rights deals are excluded.

A new shared challenge arrives at midnight Eastern. Progress belongs to this browser. Trade Recall has its own separate run.
