A quick scouting report

Complete the trade.

  1. Exactly one player is hidden in each trade. Every other player and all the picks are visible clues.
  2. Search for a name, choose the right player, then submit. One correct answer completes the trade.
  3. You have three mistakes for the entire run. They carry over between trades. Your third mistake ends the run.
  4. You also have three hints for the entire run. Use a hint to reveal the missing player’s initials and recorded playing years. A hint doesn’t fill the blank or use a strike. Each trade gets one clue; unused hints carry over to the next trade.
  5. Name the missing player to unlock the next trade. There’s no timer: go until you strike out or clear the day’s eligible archive.

Picks and swaps are already shown. You never need their years or protections. Cash and long-held draft-rights deals are left out of gameplay.

Empty entries and repeated guesses don’t cost a strike. Look-alike names include playing years so you can choose the right player.
